Ricky Starks‘ feud with Blackpool Combat Club continued at AEW WrestleDream.
In recent weeks, Starks has been feuding with Blackpool Combat Club. He battled Bryan Danielson in a Strap Match at AEW All Out, and they later clashed in a Texas Death Match on AEW Collision. The former FTW Champion has remained engaged in a rivalry with the group, as Wheeler Yuta challenged him to a match at AEW WrestleDream.
The two young stars battled it out, and BCC member Jon Moxley joined the commentary team for the bout. Starks seemingly mocked Blackpool Combat Club at a few points, as he stared down Moxley and used the group’s signature hammer-and-anvil elbows. The arrival of Big Bill tipped the scales in Yuta’s favor, though the former ROH Pure Champion initially overcame the odds by taking the fight to him.
In the end, after another loom over to Moxley, Starks pinned Yuta with the Roshambo to pick up the win on pay-per-view.
