Todd Pettengill Is Getting His Own Action Figure

Todd Pettengill is a legend in the wrestling business. He was a backstage interviewer and also has hosted multiple shows. Now, he is set to get his own action figure.

Recently, Zombie Sailors (a licensed action figure manufacturing group) tweeted out that Todd Pettengill will be receiving an action figure this year.

“OMFG!!! TODD PETTENGILL is this years Heels and FACES #NYCC exclusive!!! The TODDFATHER will be available THIS THURSDAY with an edition size of 1500!!!” Zombie Sailor tweeted.

The 57-year-old veteran had taken up multiple roles throughout his career. He kicked off his career by working as a disc jockey on a radio station. Pettengill began his career at the young age of thirteen. That was back in 1986 at a local radio station.

As he grew up, he hosted the morning show on Albany, New York’s WFLY ‘Fly 92’. In a short while, he earned a promotion. He became the Program Director and Vice President of the Albany Broadcasting Company.

Later, in the mid-90s he became a backstage interviewer at the then-WWF. He was not only a backstage interviewer but also got the opportunity to host multiple shows such as WWF Live Wire, WWF Blast Off, and many more.

Recently, WWE veteran Jim Cornette shared his honest opinion about one of the shows Pettengill hosted. It was WWF Live Wire. The show aired on Saturday mornings. It initially kicked off as the first-ever live interactive wrestling show in which fans could dial in and share their thoughts.

“So we had to give up our Saturday mornings to do this, the worst wrestling TV program ever, which had absolutely NO WRESTLING on it,” Cornette tweeted.
