Zelina Vega comments on potentially getting into acting.
Plenty of wrestlers, like John Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Dave Bautista, have successfully transitioned from WWE to acting. Zelina Vega previously She also portrayed AJ Lee in Fighting with My Family. She is also featured in Street Fighter 6 as an in-game commentator.
Speaking with Tyler Treese for ComingSoon, Zelina Vega was asked whether she’s looking to do more acting if opportunities come up.
“Yes. It’s funny, I thought about — after Street Fighter — how much I loved voice acting. I didn’t realize how much I was going to fall in love with it,” Zelina Vega said. “But I would love to voice someone in anime. That would be so fun for me, to be a part of some anime that I love in that way. Obviously, the One Piece show on Netflix is doing really well, so even to be a part of it in that way would be really cool.
“I would love to be doing some more acting going forward, but I also know that I’m not the type of person to just jump into a project just because it’s a project, you know? It has to be something that I’m super passionate about. So I’m really picky when it comes to that stuff. Whatever’s going to be next is going to be something that is really close to my heart, for sure.”
