On October 21, All Elite Wrestling presented AEW Battle of the Belts VIII from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee.
The show featured several title matches. Among other bouts, Orange Cassidy defended the AEW International Championship against John Silver.
The results are as follows:
- AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) defeated John Silver (with Alex Reynolds)
- CJ Perry seemingly teased recruiting Andrade El Idolo backstage.
- ROH World Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) defeated Tony Nese (with Mark Sterling)
- After the match, Samoa Joe called out AEW World Champion MJF and made it clear that he was coming for the gold.
- TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) defeated Willow Nightingale
- Skye Blue initially stopped Willow from shaking Statlander’s hand after the bell. Willow shook the champion’s hand anyway, and Blue clearly disapproved.
- Backstage, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy challenged Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli to face him and Kazuchika Okada on AEW Dynamite.
- AEW World Trios Championship: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster & “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn (c) defeated Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker
