Chris Jericho, a former AEW and WWE World Champion, is also the lead singer of Fozzy. He has crossed over into films and television shows as well. In a new interview, he noted that he would be open to doing a Broadway show.
Speaking with Daniel Trainor of The Messenger, Chris Jericho described how he has an open mind when it comes to potentially doing Broadway. Jericho noted that he can dance, he can sing, and he has experience being in front of a crowd.
“I never, ever put myself in a box for anything that I do,” Chris Jericho said. “I’m an entertainer. If I said I wanted to play center for the L.A. Kings, it’s probably not going to happen. But if I say I want to do Broadway, why not?”
“I can act, I can sing. I understand what it’s like to be in front of a crowd. Anything that’s in that world for me, I’m open to it. I could get an offer to do Broadway tomorrow, and if it came my way, I would seriously consider it. I never thought I’d get an offer to play an ex-rock star father who is now a horse breeding farmer.”
Chris Jericho will have a sit-down interview with Renee Paquette on the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Wednesday.
