Mr. Stone is stepping into a crazy situation, but he is ready to get revenge for his best friend.
Bron Breakker and Mr. Stone are set to face off at night two of NXT Halloween Havoc. The match came together after Breakker attacked Von Wagner last month. WWE claimed Von Wagner suffered a skull fracture at the hands of Breakker.
Von Wagner has appeared on television in some physical therapy segments, but he’s expected to remain out of action for several weeks.
One week before the big match goes down, Mr. Stone commented on his feelings heading into the match. Stone will compete in his first advertised singles match in five years against Breakker. Some might be ready to count him out already, but anything can happen once the bell rings.
“Last year two days after Halloween Havoc my mother passed away and it was a numbing pain I am still feeling today. Because of that at this year’s Halloween Havoc Bron can’t hurt me more than I’ve already been hurt,” Stone wrote on Twitter. “I know everyone thinks I am insane for wanting this match and they aren’t wrong. But just remember this… When the bell rings and it is just me and him in the ring, ANYTHING can happen. And ya can bet your bottom dollar that my experience and intelligence will come into play to get revenge for my best friend.”
Mr. Stone has competed just four times in WWE, with three of those being tag team matches. His last advertised singles match came outside the promotion, as he competed for Battle Championship Wrestling in Australia in March 2019.
