AEW Women’s Title Match, Trios Bout Set For AEW Full Gear

New matches are taking shape for AEW Full Gear.

It was announced on the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite that Toni Storm will have a “Hollywood Homecoming” and will challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship on November 18 in Los Angeles.

While Hikaru Shida was successful in her defense against Ruby Soho on Wednesday, it was not made official that Storm will challenge Shida. Storm did, however, make an appearance on the ramp following Shida’s defense.

Sting In Trios Action

During Sting’s in-ring appearance, TNT Champion Christian Cage interrupted with Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne at his side. Their interaction concluded with Cage challenging Sting and Darby Allin to find a partner to take on their trio at Full Gear.

Sting later confronted an apprehensive Adam Copeland and challenged him to take his blinders off in regards to not wanting to get in the ring with his former partner. As of this writing, Copeland has not been confirmed for the bout.

Below is the updated lineup for AEW Full Gear:

  • AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Jay White
  • ROH World Tag Team Championship: MJF (c) vs. The Gunns
  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Toni Storm challenges
  • Sting, Darby Allin & TBD vs. Christian Cage, Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne

WrestleZone will have complete coverage of Full Gear as the event airs on November 18.
