MJF says he’s not a finished product, but he’s trying.
AEW World Champion MJF continues to gain momentum ahead of AEW Full Gear. He recently defended the title against former world champion Kenny Omega on the October 28 episode of AEW Collision. “The Cleaner” praised the reigning champion after the match and said he was rooting for him to represent the company for years to come.
MJF took to Twitter to reflect on his recent run and stated that in wrestling, respect is earned, not given. The self-proclaimed generational talent admitted that he used to wrestle for himself, as he thought nobody cared whether he was alive or dead. However, he stated that he now walks to the ring with everyone who believes in him.
MJF closed the message by saying that he’s not a finished product, but he’s trying.
MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Daniel Garcia on the November 8 episode of AEW Dynamite. More information is available here.
