Eddie Kingston Isn’t Bothered By People Commenting About His Physique

One of the most important things about being a wrestler is to be in peak physical condition. While for some, it might mean that the wrestler has to be heavily built with rock-hard abs. However, that isn’t the case all of the time. A few wrestlers do tend to get mocked and ridiculed for their physical appearance. One such star is Eddie Kingston.

Eddie Kingston may not be a muscular man, but he certainly has a lot of talent and potential. He is one of the highly talented and most experienced wrestlers on the AEW roster. The Mad King is the current ROH World Champion and is also the IWGP Never Openweight Champion.

In a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, the AEW star talked about being a victim of body shaming and why he’s not bothered by it.

“It never bothered me because they don’t know the work I put in. They don’t know that I go to the gym; they don’t know I do Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. They don’t know the work I put in or the hours I spend getting ready to get in the ring. Look, my belly’s a little bit bigger … Bro, I like ice cream, I like Five Guys. I saw a McDonald’s over here, I like to eat. But I still work out and bust my ass. I still go 110% in that ring — even if I can’t go. Even if my body’s f***ing turning on me, I still go 110% and give what I got,” Eddie Kingston said. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
