Drew McIntyre Comments On Randy Orton’s Return To WWE

Last night on Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes confirmed to the wrestling world that 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton is finally returning to WWE. Orton will make his in-ring return at Survivor Series. One of his former rivals, Drew McIntyre, reacted to that news.

Last week, Drew McIntyre seemingly joined forces with The Judgment Day and cost Jey Uso and the American Nightmare the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships. Thus, the Scottish Warrior kicked off last night’s episode of Raw to provide answers. While doing so, McIntyre confirmed that he is not joining the Judgment Day but will be joining their team as the fifth member in their WarGames match.

After that, fans saw a face-off between the two teams. Adam Pearce gave Cody Rhodes and his team time till the end of the night to choose their fifth member. The main event of the night was a match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre. The winner would earn the advantage for their respective teams.

McIntyre managed to pick up the win and earn the advantage for his team. Then as he tried to instill more punishment in Uso, the rest of Uso’s faction came out. Cody Rhodes grabbed the microphone and announced who the fifth member of their team was going to be. Although he didn’t mention his name, Rhodes revealed that he has a legacy with him and that he’s the Apex Predator. Thus confirming that it will be Randy Orton.

Following this, the Scottish Warrior took to Twitter to seemingly welcome Randy Orton back into WWE.

“Hello darkness, my old friend #SurvivorSeries,” Drew McIntyre tweeted.

The Viper will make his official return this Saturday at Survivor Series WarGames.
