A title match has been confirmed for the November 25 episode of AEW Rampage.
Tony Khan announced that Katsuyori Shibata will defend the ROH Pure Championship against Wheeler Yuta on the November 25 episode of AEW Rampage. Rampage will air on Saturday due to TNT’s coverage of NHL on Friday night.
Yuta is a two-time ROH Pure Champion. Shibata beat him to win the title at ROH Supercard of Honor 2023 on March 31. Yuta confronted Shibata on the November 22 episode of AEW Dynamite and made it clear that he had his sights set on the gold.
Shibata beat Trent Beretta to retain the ROH Pure Championship on the November 23 episode of ROH TV. On the same show, Yuta defeated Lee Moriarty in a Pure Rules match.
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Rampage as it airs on November 25.
