Thunder Rosa says she is ready to return to the ring.
Thunder Rosa has been out of action due to a back injury since August 2022. She relinquished the AEW Women’s World Championship due to the injury, and she has been on the road to recovery ever since.
Speaking with News 4 in San Antonio, Thunder Rosa was asked about her comeback and her mission to return.
“It’s hard, it’s very tough, it’s mentally [and] physically tough,” Thunder Rosa said. “It’s been a beautiful journey, from the lows to the highs. I am ready.
“Whenever that call comes, and my boss says, ‘It’s time for you to return,’ I am super excited, and I cannot wait to show to the world and all of you fans that have been supporting me all this time that I am ready and I have a lot more to give.”
In October, Rosa said she was ready, and she expressed her interest in a match with Stephanie Vaquer.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Rosa will return to the ring in AEW. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
