Matt Cardona wants a shot at the gold.
On the December 12 episode of NWA Powerrr, Matt Cardona appeared in a video message and challenged EC3 to a match for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at NWA Paranoia on January 13. Cardona named a Death Match as the stipulation. As of this writing, the match has not been confirmed.
EC3 won the title by defeating Tyrus at NWA 75 Night Two. Cardona is a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. He won the gold by defeating Trevor Murdoch at NWA PowerrrTrip 2022. Cardona later vacated the title at NWA Always Ready due to a torn bicep. He has been unsuccessful in his quest to recapture the gold up to this point.
Cardona is the “Deathmatch King”, as he previously beat Nick Gage in a Deathmatch to win the GCW World Championship at GCW Homecoming 2021.
