Two NXT stars are reportedly expected at the December 15 taping of WWE SmackDown. There, they may be making their return to the main roster. Read on if you wish to be spoiled.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza are expected at the SmackDown taping on Friday. Johnson writes that there had been some pitches for the duo to get involved in Santos Escobar’s feud with the LWO.
In November, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer wrote that Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza were scheduled to join forces with Escobar.
Garza and Carrillo returned to NXT in June, and they have been part of the tag team title picture. They last wrestled on the November 28 episode of WWE NXT. There, they unsuccessfully challenged Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Garza and Carrillo last competed as a tag team on SmackDown in January. Garza wrestled in the Andre the Giant battle royal on the March 31 episode of the show.
