AEW World Champion MJF took a special trip to a place that was vital to his career on December 14.
Create A Pro took to Twitter to share a clip in which MJF appeared at their Frostbite 2 event on Thursday. The reigning AEW World Champion previously trained at the Create A Pro Academy.
In the clip, MJF comes to the ring, but the video ends before he says anything.
MJF previously returned to CAP in May; at CAP Homecoming, he defeated Leo Sparrow.
At AEW Worlds End, MJF is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe. He is reportedly dealing with some injuries, and he was at least temporarily written off TV when he got attacked on the December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. It is not known when he will return to AEW programming.
Tony Khan On MJF’s Injury
Tony Khan recently discussed how MJF has been fighting through injuries. Speaking with Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, he shared his thoughts on the situation.
“He’s injured, and he’s a very determined person, he’s an incredibly hard worker,” Tony Khan said. “He’s become a fighting champion, and he wants to fight, so he’s gonna fight on. … I respect MJF for fighting through a hard injury.”
