Ethan Page made Tony Nese say “I Quit.”
At ROH Final Battle, Ethan Page battled Tony Nese in an “I Quit” match. The two stars have been feuding for a number of weeks. To ensure that Nese’s manager Mark Sterling would not interfere, he was handcuffed to the ring post at the beginning of the match. He resisted, and Mark Henry came out to make sure he followed the rules.
The two foes waged war in a chaotic match. Nese busted Page open by slamming him into the steel steps. Sterling, despite being handcuffed, still interfered, as he went to throw some protein powder at Page. Page ducked, so Sterling accidentally blinded Nese. Page eventually tipped the scales in his favor as he slammed Nese through a table. Nese later freed Sterling, and they ganged up on Page.
Page’s former tag team partner Scorpio Sky came out and evened the odds as he took out Sterling. In the end, Page scored the win by hitting the Ego’s Edge and choking Nese with a cord until he quit.
After the bell, Page celebrated with Sky, and Henry raised their arms.
