CM Punk joked about his history with Dominik Mysterio, and the former NXT North American Champion fired back.
CM Punk returned to WWE at WWE Survivor Series. In his first match back with the company, he is set to face Dominik Mysterio at the live event at Madison Square Garden on December 26. Punk and Dominik have briefly crossed paths since the former world champion’s return. However, they first interacted many years ago when Dominik appeared on-screen during Punk’s feud with Rey Mysterio.
Punk referenced this history while on commentary at CFFC 128, as he joked that he has been wanting to punch Dominik since he was eight years old.
Punk is also set to face Dominik at the December 30 live event.
Dominik Mysterio Responds To CM Punk
Dominik Mysterio responded to CM Punk’s joke by sharing a clip of Punk stumbling on the ropes during one of his matches in AEW. He asked Punk to punch him like that, and he mockingly called him the best in the world.
