MJF has received a special honor.
AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) has been inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. AEW highlighted the news in a tweet and congratulated the champion.
MJF also commented on the news in a tweet. He stated that he couldn’t put into words what it meant to him. The AEW star noted that, given the rampant discrimination seen around the world, he was proud to say he was not just a Jew, he’s human. He stated that everyone should be treated as such, except him, as he deserves special treatment.
MJF is set to appear on the December 20 episode of AEW Dynamite. At AEW Worlds End, he is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa.
