TJPW Star Mizuki Returns To Singapore In 2024

Former TJPW Princess of Princess Champion Mizuki will return to Singapore for SPW’s Champions Never Yield 2 show in January 2024.

Singapore Pro Wrestling took to Twitter to announce the lineup for their upcoming Champions Never Yield 2 event on January 19, 2024. To the surprise of some fans, the match card included Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling’s Mizuki. SPW stated that she would be competing against Southeast Asian women’s wrestling pioneer Alexis Lee.

In a lengthier post on Facebook, SPW added that the winner of Alexis Lee and Mizuki’s match will become the number one contender for the SPW Queen of Asia Championship currently held by Yuki Kamifuku who is also under TJPW. Yuki previously defeated former champion Alexis Lee for the belt at SPW’s Viva La Lucha show last November. Since winning the title, Yuki successfully defended the Queen of Asia Championship against Vietnamese-American wrestler Viva Van at TJPW’s Korakuen Hall show.

Singapore also previously had a dose of Joshi action with STARDOM’s recent BushiRoad Asia Expo last November. Some stars included on the company’s visit to the “Lion City” were AZM, Mei Seira, Thekla, Mina Shirakawa, Lady C, and Hazuki.

Mizuki’s last SPW appearance

Mizuki has only wrestled in Singapore once with her last appearance dating back to 2018. There, she teamed up with The Horrors (Da Butcherman and Dr. Gore) against Reika Saiki and Onslaught (Trexxus and Andruew Tang) for SPW’s Ladies Night show.

SPW Champions Never Yield 2 Card

The upcoming Champions Never Yield 2 event’s full lineup is as follows:

  • Aiden Rex vs. Big T vs. Seigo Tachibana
  • Andruew Tang vs. Ikemen Jiro
  • Alexis Lee vs. Mizuki
  • Black Arrow vs. Shivam

The Horrors vs. CDK was also in the initial announcement. However, Singapore Pro Wrestling is yet to disclose the current status of the match due to Chris Brookes’ impending surgery for tumor removal.
