Rhea Ripley Responds To Critics Who Say She Doesn’t Wrestle Enough

Rhea Ripley believes she’s running Monday Night RAW, and there’s nothing that anyone can do about it.

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was a guest this week on the WWE 2024 Preview. When asked about her recent title defense against Ivy Nile on Monday Night RAW, Ripley had high praise for her young upstart opponent.

“It was very impressive,” Rhea Ripley admitted. “Ivy, she hasn’t had many singles matches in general, and for that to be her first one here on the red brand on RAW, on Monday Night Mami. She really did hold her own.

“And I gotta give it to her, the little pipsqueak, she’s got some fight in her. She caught me off guard a couple of times, but at the end of the day, this is Mami’s world, and you’re just living in it, so I had to get the job done.”

Later in the interview, Ripley would comment on the criticisms online that she doesn’t wrestle enough and that she’s too focused on The Judgment Day‘s overall storyline.

“People like to complain that Mami doesn’t have many matches,” Rhea Ripley said. “Mami doesn’t do too much. She’s too involved with The Judgement Day. But at the end of the day, Mami is busy doing business. I’m running Monday Night RAW, and I’m running my division, and there’s nothing that anyone can do about it.”
