Mustafa Ali teases his plans for the future.
Former WWE star Mustafa Ali took to Twitter on January 5 to thank the fans for his support since he launched his “campaign”, which will see him compete throughout the wrestling world as he begins his post-WWE journey. In the tweet, he wrote that, along with the fans, they have grabbed the attention of corrupt industry leaders, as they know change is coming.
Ali stated that dream matches will be announced in the coming weeks. He noted that these bouts “will have significant ramifications on our mission to restore honor, create an impact through action, take the industry to new horizons, and remove the elite who have ruled over us with an iron fist.” The message included references to AEW (the “elite”), ROH (“honor”), and TNA/IMPACT Wrestling (impact).
Ali closed the message by saying that the campaign for change begins now and thanking the fans.
WWE released Ali in a series of cuts on September 21. His non-compete clause is up, so he is free to compete elsewhere.
