Mansoor Is Still Buzzing After His First Match Since Being Released From WWE

Now that the 90-day no-compete clause is over, almost every wrestler who was released from WWE a few months ago has begun to wrestle or at least show up on other promotions. One such wrestler is Mansoor. He appeared with Mace at DPW last month, but he recently had his first match back at Hoodslam. Mansoor wrestled and defeated Dark Sheik on the show.

Mansoor took to Twitter to share his excitement in getting back into the ring.

“FIRST MATCH BACK! Still buzzing from this. 20 minutes bell to bell with the best of the best and a whole lot to prove. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me home. @HOODSLAM // Mansoor vs @darksheikft Watch the full match on

Mansoor wants to make people understand who he is and to understand professional wrestling

Recently, on the day that the 90-day No Compete clause came to an end, Mansoor addressed the wrestling world. He revealed that he wants to show and help people understand who he is and what is professional wrestling all about.

“That is all I want from this. To make people understand. Not just the concept of professional wrestling but who I am. Because for the last five years you have known a version of me, an abstract concept. But really this is the first time we are actually meeting. So, allow me to introduce myself.

“My name is Mansoor Abdul Aziz Muhammed Abdul Aziz Al-Shehail but you can call me Mansoor. And you will know me by my works because in 2024 I prove that I am the most capable, captivating, charismatic performer in all of professional wrestling. Many of you will laugh and many of you will scoff at that statement and I look forward to nothing more than coming to your town and making you understand. That is the goal,” Mansoor said.

The former WWE Superstar also shared how his father reacted to his debut match at WWE Crown Jewel in 2019.

“Until four decades later when his son had the match of his life against Claudio Castagnoli in front of 60,000 people in his hometown. I will never forget going up to him after the match to him looking at my eye and saying, ‘Mansoor! I understand.’ I have been chasing that feeling every single day.”
