The Young Bucks are back, and they have mustaches.
Sting and Darby Allin headlined the January 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, which marked the company’s return to Daily’s Place. They battled Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs in a Tornado Tag Team Match. Ric Flair got involved in the chaotic bout, as he chopped Powerhouse Hobbs and poked him in the eyes. Allin later dove off part of the stage onto Takeshita. In the end, Sting clinched the win with a Scorpion Death Drop through a table to Hobbs.
After the match, Tony Schiavone asked Sting who his opponent in his last match at AEW Revolution would be. Before he could say anything, he was interrupted by The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson).
Matt and Nick Jackson, sporting new mustaches, stared Sting and Allin down to close the show.
The Young Bucks had been absent since their match at AEW Full Gear in November, where they lost to Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho.
