NJPW Renewls Deal With AXS TV, January Schedule Announced

Report: NJPW Legend Coming To MLW

One of the most decorated legends in New Japan Pro-Wrestling is coming to Major League Wrestling.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Yuji Nagata is set to appear in MLW soon. Per Sapp, he will make his debut at the MLW SuperFight special on February 3.

Nagata, 55, remains highly active in the wrestling world, especially for NJPW and AJPW. He is a two-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and a former GHC Heavyweight Champion, among various accolades.

MLW has been working with NJPW in recent months. The two companies formed an alliance along with CMLL. This collaboration has already seen KUSHIDA and Minoru Suzuki wrestle for MLW.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
