Darby Allin and Sting will challenge Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
During tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the pair entered the ring, with Allin reminding the world of AEW that he and Sting still hadn’t lost together as a tag team. He then tried to persuade Sting to chase the tag team titles with him. Fueled by a “You’ve still got it” chant, Sting agreed to do so.
Later on in the night, Ricky Staks and Big Bill responded, and they accepted the challenge. Starks said that Sting wouldn’t even make it to AEW Revolution for his farewell match by the time they’re finished with him.
Toward the end of AEW Dynamite, the broadcast confirmed that the match would take place in two weeks. The bout was confirmed for the February 7 episode.
