AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm reflects on what went wrong with her time in The Outcasts.
Previously, Toni Storm was featured alongside Saraya and Ruby Soho in The Outcasts. She parted ways with the group after Saraya won the AEW World Championship and evolved into “Timeless” Toni Storm.”
Speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Toni Storm discussed her transformation into the “Timeless” character fans know and love. Jericho noted that her time with The Outcasts went bottoms up or, perhaps more fittingly, tits up.
“Tits up. It went tits up. It did, it went completely tits up,” Toni Storm said. “Because I will not be upstaged. You will not outshine me. People don’t just simply beat me. Nor do they take my titles, that doesn’t just happen. So if that’s going to happen, then I’m not going to be too thrilled about it. It’s going to send me into something.
“Then I was speaking to a dear friend, I think his name was RJ City, and he just won’t stop harassing me, asking me all these different questions. He sent me mad with his line of questioning. Then I was like, ‘Fine. Fine, I admit it. I’m timeless.’ There, are you happy? I’m Timeless. There. Are you happy? I’m timeless. Now, you all know.”
Toni Storm is set to face Red Velvet on the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Wednesday.
