Who will challenge Christian Cage for the TNT Championship at AEW Revolution?

Christian Cage and Shayna Wayne come out to join the rest of the group. Cage goes under the ring to grab a chair, Daddy Magic tries to stop him, but Killswitch lays him out. Killswitch hits Garcia with a chokeslam. Cage goes to set up a conchairto but is stopped by Copeland.

A video package plays recapping last week’s AEW Dynamite when Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland wrestled to a time-limit draw. Both men will challenge Samoa Joe in a three-way match for the AEW World Championship at Revolution.

AEW World Champion Samoa Joe comes to the ring to speak. Samoa Joe says everything was going so well with his title reign until last week when Hangman and Swerve wrestled to a draw last week. Joe says he thought they would kick them both to the back of the line, but instead, they made his title match bigger and dumber.

Samoa Joe says they reward mediocrity around here and now he finds himself in a three-way match at Revolution. Joe says he will injure both men at Revolution to teach them a lesson. This brings out Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana.

Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page confront Samoa Joe on AEW Dynamite

Swerve Strickland says when they started this whole thing, it wasn’t supposed to be personal but the more that Joe runs his mouth he can’t help but feel this has become personal. Strickland says when Joe won the AEW Title that the new protocol was to show up with your resume to get a shot. Strickland says he’s on his way to becoming one of the best of all time and Joe needs to put some respect on his name.

Swerve says he’s gone toe-to-toe with some of the best and the biggest legends All Elite Wrestling has to offer, and every time he proves that it’s his house. Swerve says nothing changes at Revolution beyond the fact that he’ll be holding the AEW Championship above his head.

This brings out Hangman Page. Page says he wants to set the record straight, last week he wasn’t mad but last week was horse shit. Page says he signed on for a match where the winner would become the number one contender and Strickland couldn’t do it. Hangman says if it were up to him that match would be one-on-one with two people who respect that championship.

Hangman says Swerve doesn’t deserve this title shot and he didn’t deserve another five minutes because he couldn’t get the job done. Page says he doesn’t deserve to be in the title match.

Samoa Joe says he’s heard enough from both men and that when it comes to AEW Revolution, he’s gonna whoop both Swerve and Hangman’s asses.

Matthew says beating a team the quality of Top Flight, it’s safe to assume they’re number one contenders. Schiavone says Sting isn’t there because of the depsicable act by them last week.

Matthew says he’s tired of hearing Schiavone burying them on commentary every week and calls it a breach of contract. Nicholas gives Schiavone a $1000 fine and asks him if he has a problem with that. Nicholas shoves him down, Matthew apologizes and offers to help him up. The Young Bucks set Schiavone up for an EVP Trigger, but Darby Allin makes the save.

Darby Allin accepts The Young Bucks’ challenge for Revolution on AEW Dynamite

Darby Allin says the original mission statement of All Elite Wrestling was to change the world.
