WWE SmackDown Viewership Decreases On 2/23, Demo Also Drops

WWE SmackDown‘s viewership decreased on February 23.

Per SportsMediaWatch (via Wrestlenomics), 2.272 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.56 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The preliminary viewership is down from last week’s episode when 2.55 million viewers tuned in. Friday’s episode was a taped show, as WWE talent, staff, and crew were traveling for WWE Elimination Chamber.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown drew a 0.62 rating. This also marks a drop from last week (0.75 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Tiffany Stratton getting a big win over Liv Morgan. Bianca Belair watched the match from the ringside area.

The Authors of Pain defeated The Street Profits in tag team action. Bobby Lashley’s arm was injured by Karrion Kross near the end of the matchup.

LA Knight was also in action and picked up a win over Jimmy Uso. The Bloodline attacked Knight after the match but was saved by Cody Rhodes.

The main event witnessed LA Knight and Drew McIntyre wrestling to a no contest due to outside interference from the other participants in the Elimination Chamber match; Randy Orton was left standing to close the show.
