On February 26, The Miz took to Instagram to state that he was locked in a room backstage at WWE RAW, which is being held at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. He said he and others have tried to open the door in various ways, but they were unsuccessful.
The former WWE Champion also noted that people are still trying to get him out. The Miz stated that they had water in the room. He made it clear he was okay, but he did not want to miss the show.
Update: The Miz later appeared in a backstage segment on WWE RAW, so it was clear that he had freed from the room he was trapped in.
