Gail Kim Shares Details Of Rejected ‘Sin City’ Pitch For WWE Return Vignette

One of the women who elevated the Knockouts Women’s Division in TNA Wrestling is Gail Kim. She is a seven-time Knockouts Champion and also is the inaugural champion as well. But before breaking records in TNA, Kim had a run in WWE, winning the WWE Women’s title

Gail Kim signed with the Stamford-based promotion in 2002. But then she left the company in 2004. About four years later she made her return to WWE. Before she made her official in-ring return, there was a series of vignettes that were played every week to hype her return.

Kim recently revealed that for this particular vignette, she was working out for eight hours non-stop. The former WWE Superstar also revealed that she initially pitched a completely different idea, but WWE wanted her to just work out.

“lol I worked out for 8 hrs straight that day to do the vignette! Wasn’t sore weirdly. But FYI I pitched something completely different but apparently they wanted me to work out. ??‍♀️,” Gail Kim tweeted.

When a fan asked about what her idea was, she revealed that it was something similar to the comic-book feel of Danity Kane “Bad Girl” music video.

“It was just the idea for the vignette it was based on a video I saw by Danity Kane. The Bad Girl video so I guess comparable to today it would’ve been Bad Blood vibes by TSwift. A little Sin City vibe. But it got turned down,” Gail Kim tweeted.

Kim left WWE in 2011. In 2016 she got inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Do you think Gail Kim’s idea would have been better?
