Bishop Kaun Is Not Done With Chris Jericho and Hook

This past week on AEW Big Business saw a lot of debuts. The night kicked off with the debut of Mercedes Moné. It was also the first time Riho and Willow Nightingale were in the main event of an AEW show. Another debut that the fans saw was the team of the Lionheart Chris Jericho and FTW Champion Hook. The tag team took on the team of Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona, the Gates of Agony.

It was a pretty intense fight and in the end, Chris Jericho and Hook managed to pick up the win. The FTW Champion locked in the Red Rum on Kaun forcing him to tap out.

Following the match, Jericho and Hook were interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette. The Ocho mentioned that he was certainly impressed with Hook’s performance but that wasn’t enough for him. Chris Jericho challenged Hook to a one-on-one match for the first time ever at next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The event will be taking place in Jericho’s home country of Canada.

The FTW Champion also accepted the challenge.

Gates of Agony on the other hand were not happy at all about the result of their match against Jericho and Hook. Bishop Kaun sent a message to both Jericho and Hook mentioning that the loss would not break them. Kaun also mentioned that the team will collect it’s revenge soon.

“This place is like a cage. And it’s doing everything in its power to break us. To contain us. These gates were made from the seat and the blood of our ancestors and their enemies. Jericho, Hook, tonight you have opened the gates, and though we did not collect, they will remain open. [Laughs],” Bishop Kaun said.
