AEW Collision Results (5/25/24): Bryan Danielson And FTR Take On Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, & Satnam Singh

AEW Collision Results – May 25, 2024

This week’s episode of AEW Collision kicks off IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley coming to the ring. Before he can say anything, he’s interrupted by Don Callis.

Don Callis says he has something important to say. He didn’t come out here to cause any trouble; he just wanted to talk about his history with Moxley. Don reminds everyone that on his second night in AEW, he cost Moxley the world title. Callis says Mox got his revenge, though, and shows the footage of Moxley busting him open backstage.

Callis then plays the footage of him helping Mox beat Kenny Omega in a steel cage match. Don claims he and Moxley changed the trajectory of AEW that night. Don Callis says he and Mox aren’t like most people. Callis claims Mox checked on him in the ambulance the night he busted him open and said he was one of them now.

Callis says Moxley was right because the two of them are a lot alike. Don says it’s killing him inside that he has to face Konosuke Takeshita tomorrow. Callis tries to sell Moxley on the idea of joining the Don Callis Family instead.

Jon Moxley says he just has one question: if the two of them are going to trust each other, he’s gonna need more of a commitment than the scar in his head and says he’s about to put 24 more stitches in his head right now. Takeshita attacks Moxley from behind and lays him out.

Takeshita “Pillmanizes” Moxley’s arm with the steel chair. Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli hit the ring, but the damage has already been done. The Doctor and BCC check on Moxley.

Chris Jericho says he wasn’t expecting to have two opponents, but after 33 years of being on top of the business, he knows he’s gonna have to work extra hard to retain his title. Jericho says he believes he’s gonna come out with the win. Bryan Keith comes in and says he might have missed his shot, but that’s not the last Jericho has seen of him.

Trent Beretta is backstage. Beretta says tomorrow night, he will show the whole world something he’s already known for a really long time. The Rated R Superstar sends a message to House of Black

Adam Copeland appears on the Tron. Copeland says House of Black took away the one item that kept him tethered to his comfortable world. Copeland says he knew it was only a matter of time until they set their sights on him. Adam says they wanted this version of him that has a devil on one shoulder but no angel on the other.

Copeland says it’s fitting that this match will take place in Vegas. He says if he loses, he has to join House of Black and talks about the force they could be. However, Copeland doesn’t deal in dreams; this is a horror story.

Copeland wants to know what happens if he defeats Black and the House joins him. Copeland says he’s been known to be a master manipulator, and that’s something he can sink his teeth into. He says when you see evil in a man’s eyes…it’s already too late.
