“The Man” is heading to Washington.
Former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is one of WWE‘s top stars, and she is one of the most successful Irish athletes in the sporting world today. A native of Limerick, Ireland, Lynch has headlined WrestleMania and won multiple titles. She is set to challenge for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Per Angela Barbuti of the New York Post, Becky Lynch will be at the White House on St. Patrick’s Day along with other noteworthy Irish figures, including Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.
“I got invited to the White House, because I’m Ireland’s national treasure,” Lynch joked. “It’s a big Irish celebration, so I’ll be there.”
Becky Lynch will be in action on the March 18 episode of WWE RAW. There, she will face Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing match. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
