Becky Lynch Announces She’s Now Officially An American Citizen

Becky Lynch provides a major personal update.

March has been a busy month for “The Man.” In addition to preparing for her WrestleMania 40 match against WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch has also found herself in the crosshairs of Liv Morgan and Nia Jax. Professionally, Lynch is also in the process of promoting her memoir, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, which is slated to drop on March 26. On Monday, Lynch shared some exciting personal news as well.

After last night’s episode of WWE Raw went off the air, Lynch took a moment to address the show’s live audience in Raleigh. There, Lynch informed them, that as of Monday, she was officially a citizen of the United States of America.

WWE Raw commentator Michael Cole previously confirmed the news during Raw’s broadcast, noting that the Irish-born superstar had passed her US Citizenship Test this week. Originally born in the city of Limerick, Lynch spent the majority of her early life on the Ireland front. Upon signing with WWE in 2013, though, Lynch officially relocated to the United States. 11 years later, she can now firmly call herself a U.S. citizen.

News of Lynch’s U.S. citizenship came on the heels of her main event victory over Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing match.
