Matt Cardona is still a free agent following his appearance at the latest TNA television tapings.
Former TNA/IMPACT Digital Media Champion Matt Cardona made a surprise appearance at the TNA tapings on March 22. This led to some speculation regarding his status with the company.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, after reaching out to Cardona, the former champion confirmed that he was still a free agent and on a per-appearances agreement. Per Sapp, Cardona said, “”Alwayz. Then. Now. Forever. Quote me on that.”
Cardona left TNA/IMPACT in 2023 but made a one-off return at Bound For Glory in October. He previously debuted at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view in January 2021 and had been a regular with the promotion. Otherwise, he remains active on the independent scene.
