Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported the news on April 1. Slim J was released among several other wrestlers. Additional details are unclear at this time.
Slim J made his AEW debut at the AEW Dark taping on July 16, 2022. He was featured as a member of The Trustbusters, and he competed on Rampage in August 2022. Slim J continued to compete on AEW Dark, Dark: Elevation, and ROH programming. He last wrestled for ROH at the TV taping on March 7, 2024. Slim J has also remained semi-active on the independent scene as well.
