A new report provides an update on Adam Cole.
Adam Cole has been sidelined with an ankle injury he suffered at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in September 2023. Over the next few months, he continued to appear somewhat regularly on AEW programming. However, he has been absent in recent weeks.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources close to Adam Cole, he is “not very close” to returning to the ring. Sapp also reports that Cole has been taken off the road, as the travel was slowing the progress he was making in his recovery from surgery.
The report notes that sources do not have a specific timetable for Cole’s return. Sapp writes that Cole appearing on TV is not out of the question, but the frequency was reduced.
