AEW Rampage Results (4/27/24): Thunder Rosa Takes On Deonna Purrazzo

AEW Rampage Results – April 27, 2024

This week’s episode of AEW Rampage kicks off with the Parking Lot fight between Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor.

Trent Beretta defeated Chuck Taylor in a Parking Lot Brawl

  • Trent Beretta hits Chuck Taylor with a piledriver on the top of a car and locks him in a Gogoplata to win the match by KO.

Beretta hits Taylor in the knee with a wrench and tells Orange Cassidy this was his fault. Cassidy tries to chase after Beretta, but Statlander stops him. We see Don Callis watching the fight and its aftermath backstage.

Kyle O’Reilly is backstage. O’Reilly says on May 11, AEW Collision is coming to his hometown. O’Reilly seemingly issues an open challenge for that show.

Thunder Rosa defeated Deonna Purrazzo

  • Thunder Rosa reverses Deonna Purrazzo’s armbar into a rollup to score the pinfall victory.

Rosa gloats after the match, and Purrazzo attacks her and beats her up on the stage. Eventually, security separates the two women.

Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett are backstage. Mike Bennett tells Tony Khan to stay neck strong. Roderick Strong says he has signed, sealed, and delivered the destruction of the Aeriel Assassin at Double or Nothing. Strong says Ospreay will fall to the Messiah of the Backbreaker.

Big Bill defeated Trevor Blackwell

  • Big Bill wins in an utter squash match.

Chris Jericho watched the match from backstage and seemed impressed by Big Bill’s performance against an enhancement talent.

It’s time for the main event of AEW Rampage

Katsuyori Shibata and Daniel Garcia defeated Shane Taylor Promotions (w/ Anthony Ogogo)

  • Katsuyori Shibata hits the PK on Lee Moriarity to secure the pinfall victory for his team.

Garcia and Shibata celebrate as AEW Rampage goes off the air.
