Ricochet’s challenger has been determined.
As confirmed on the May 22 episode of WWE Speed, Ricochet will defend the WWE Speed Championship against Tyler Bate on the May 24 episode. Bate picked up the win against Apollo Crews in the finals of a tournament for a title shot on Wednesday.
Bate clinched his spot in the bout with a win over Berto on May 15. Meanwhile, Crews was the replacement for Ivar, who is out of action with an injury.
Ricochet is the inaugural WWE Speed Champion. He beat Johnny Gargano in the finals of the tournament that crowned the first champion.
