Jon Moxley will have some NJPW legends on his side when he defends the gold at NJPW Dominion.
At NJPW Dominion, Jon Moxley will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against EVIL. NJPW has confirmed that the contest will be a Lumberjack Deathmatch.
In a video message at the NJPW Best of Super Juniors event on June 3, Jon Moxley announced that he would have some major legends in his corner for the match. Moxley revealed that NJPW legends Yuji Nagata, Togi Majabe, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, and Tiger Mask would be lumberjacks in the title match.
Nagata is a two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, among other accolades. Tenzan has held the world title four times, and Makabe is a former world champion as well.
Moxley won the title when he defeated Tetsuya Naito at NJPW Windy City Riot.
