Report: Update On Daniel Garcia’s AEW Contract

A new report provides an update on Daniel Garcia‘s contract status with AEW.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources, Daniel Garcia’s contract was set to expire in the fall of 2024, at least as of earlier this year. Sapp cites one top AEW name who said that they didn’t believe he was going anywhere. This source indicated that they thought that Garcia had re-signed.

The report notes that, according to sources close to Daniel Garcia, a lot of his future would “likely come into focus soon.”

Daniel Garcia has wrestling for AEW since 2021. He has faced various top stars throughout his time with the company, including Bryan Danielson. Garcia had a prominent run as a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society as well.

On the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, Garcia will challenge Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship.
