Meiko Satomura: Sareee Will Continue To Lead The Pro Wrestling World

Meiko Satomura had high praise for Sareee following their blockbuster singles match at Sareee-ISM Chapter VI.

As part of her retirement run, Meiko Satomura competed against Sareee in the latter’s sixth produce show in Shinjuku FACE. The two women headlined the show in their first singles encounter since 2019 under Sendai Girls. Despite Sareee’s determination to defeat one of her mentors in the business, Meiko Satomura secured the victory with her unparalleled experience.

A day after the show, Meiko went on to her official Twitter account to thank the fans for supporting the event. She recalled Sareee’s origins in wrestling, saying that the she started out at a time where not many people could pursue wrestling. Meiko then went on to applaud the “Sun God’s” progress since her beginnings, saying “Sareee is a wrestler with a great attitude, so I believe she will continue to lead the professional wrestling world no matter what happens!”

As of the time of writing, Meiko Satomura is roughly three months away from retirement. She will also compete in her last matches in the European region for PROGRESS Wrestling this coming February 23 against Rhio.

On the other hand, Sareee looks to bounce back following consecutive major singles losses. She lost both the Marigold World Championship and Beyond the Sea Single Championship to Utami Hayashishita and VENY, respectively, just this past month.
