Mickie James has returned to TNA. Pro-Wrestling EVE prepares for Wrestle Queendom 8. The IInspiration are All Elite, and more!
Mickie James Returns To TNA
Last week, TNA Wrestling returned to Nashville, Tennessee for No Surrender, and much like its name suggests, the event didn’t hold back on the surprises.
Over in the Knockouts tag division, M and Heather By Elegance successfully defended the Knockouts Tag Team Championships against Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell, courtesy of the Nip and Tuck. The Elegance Brand’s celebration didn’t last too long, however, as TNA Hall of Famer and Nashville resident Mickie James made her surprise return to lay out Ash By Elegance. When Heather and M then tried to intervene, Hartwell and Brookside evened the odds for James, causing the Elegance Brand to retreat.
As of this writing, James’ immediate in-ring future is unclear, though she recently stated that she will always be involved in wrestling in some capacity. The “Hardcore Country” legend last competed in a TNA ring at Bound For Glory 2023, where she fell short in her efforts to regain the Knockouts Championship against Naomi.
Elsewhere at No Surrender, a new number one contender and TNA Knockouts Champion were crowned. The former occurred when Jody Threat last eliminated Tessa Blanchard from the opening battle royal. Later, NXT star Arianna Grace dethroned Lei Ying Lee as Knockouts Champion after nailing her in the throat with the Cobra, then dropping Lee onto her knee.
With her win, Grace begins her first reign as Knockouts Champion. Meanwhile, Lee’s comes to an end at 87 days.

EVE’s Wrestle Queendom 8
In a matter of weeks, Pro-Wrestling EVE will hold its Wrestle Queendom 8 event before a sold-out crowd inside the Indigo At The O2. The card features a mix of talents from the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and the United States.
In perhaps the biggest surprise, AEW star and EVE International Champion, Kris Statlander, will defend her title against Charlie, previously known to wrestling fans as WWE’s Dakota Kai. For Statlander, it will mark her third defense as EVE International Champion. For Charlie, it will mark her first match since leaving WWE back in May 2025.
EVE Champion Rhio will also be in action when she puts her title on the line against Session Moth Martina. Meanwhile, EVE Tag Team Champions LALLIE (Hollie Barlow & Lana Austin) will defend their titles against the returning Charli Evans and a mystery partner. Evans, of course, previously held the very titles alongside Millie McKenzie. This time around, though, McKenzie is unable to compete.
In non-title competition, STARDOM’s AZM will take on former EVE Champion Safire Reed, while AEW’s Willow Nightingale faces one of EVE’s most decorated stars, Nina Samuels. Fellow AEW star Harley Cameron will collide with the equally entertaining Amira, who hails from Northern Ireland.

The IInspiration Are All Elite
Following their departure from TNA last month, Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, together known as The IInspiration, are All Elite.
The former WWE Women’s and TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions made their All Elite Wrestling debuts last Sunday as a part of a House Rules event in Brisbane, Australia. In their outing, the pair defeated fellow Aussies Frankie B and Aysha.
Fightful Select reported that Lee and McKay inked multi-year deals with AEW. When the two will make their official AEW television debuts is unknown. Given their prior success, though, many fans expect The IInspiration to be a powerful force in the AEW women’s tag team division.
The AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships are currently held by Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, who successfully defended the titles against Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford at AEW Grand Slam Australia. Afterward, Lena Kross, another Aussie talent, made her first appearance as an official AEW signee to help Bayne and Ford beat down the reigning champions.
