The child John Cena infamously mocked on WWE RAW two weeks ago says that he’s still a fan, even if he was called out by the WWE legend.
A TikTok account, Berko_WWE, recently tracked down the kid, who appeared in the crowd during the March 17 episode of RAW in Brussels, Belgium, and became viral online after Cena mocked the child, who was dressed in full Cena gear.
Despite the moment, the kid said he had a blast at the show, and has been a fan of Cena’s since he was even younger. As for the mockery, the child said it is a “source of pride” to be singled out by Cena.
“Since I was four years old I have been a fan of John Cena. He’s been my hero for ten years now and he’s my favorite superstar,” said the child. “I paid to see him. When he pointed at me, it was a source of pride for me that he pointed the finger at me because I didn’t know he was going to talk down to me. I understood he said toxic and dysfunctional, but it’s in his character as a heel, so I understand. For me, John Cena is still my hero.”
How did John Cena follow up his Belgian promo?
This week, John Cena unveiled his “plan to ruin wrestling” for everyone at WrestleMania 41. Cena said he will take the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes. This would give him the record for most title reigns at 17. Cena said the win would not only cement his place in history, but also make everyone forget Ric Flair’s name. Flair, of course, is the previous (and current) record holder for most title reigns of all time.
