Our WWE NXT results for tonight include Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions against Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley, and Roxanne Perez challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Championship. Here’s our review and grades for tonight’s show, live from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.

WWE NXT Results:
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs. Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley
Paxley and Morgan kick off the match. Morgan stomps Paxley in the corner. Rodriguez tags in and swings Paxley around by her neck. Dolin and Rodriguez trade shots. Rodriguez botches catching Dolin off the top, but recovers and slams Dolin.

After the break, Morgan and Rodriguez work over Paxley. Paxley manages to tag in Dolin. Dolin clears the ring. Paxley lands a 450. Morgan breaks up the pin. After several reversals, Morgan lands Oblivion on Dolin for the win.
Winners and STILL WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez!
Grade: C+
Standard stuff here. Morgan and her bodyguard are decent together, but the lack of credible challengers or storylines surrounding the tag titles makes matches like this seem like a waste. NXT actually has a women’s tag division but no tag titles to fight for. Make it make sense.
The Revolution is Here
NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints says he kicked off WrestleMania weekend with a bang against Ethan Page. Lexis King interrupts. The two argue. King threatens to challenge for the North American Championship. Saints tells King his mouth keeps writing checks he can’t cash. King challenges Saints to a Cup vs. title match. Saints agrees.
NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match: Lexis King (c) vs. Noam Dar
Dar wrestles circles around King, turning a boot into an ankle lock. Dar lands a flurry of strikes followed by a big boot in the corner. King kicks out. Dar tries to wipe King’s beard off (lol). King lands a lariat to the back of Dar’s head. The referee admonishes King as he works over Dar. King misses a swanton. Spinning back elbow by Dar. Dar pins King.
Winner and NEW NXT Heritage Cup Champion, Noam Dar!
Grade: B-
Nice seeing Dar back in NXT. The cup is probably the worst gimmick in NXT, but Dar is the only person who has ever made it work. So if the stupid thing isn’t going away, it makes the most sense for Dar to have to lug it around.
Fallon Henley w/Fatal Influence vs. Thea Hail
Henley knocks Hail to the mat and gloats. Hail takes Henley out with a running crossbody. Henley sends Hail flying with a suplex. Outside the ring, Henley holds Hail in place so Jayne can kick her. Hail moves, and Jayne boots Henley into the ring steps. Henley injures her shoulder in the process. Hail traps Henley in the Kimura. Henley taps out.
Winner- Thea Hail
Grade: C+
Another standard TV match. This was super quick, and they seem to be rushing a breakup angle between Fatal Influence. Wonder if the Mariah May rumors have anything to do with the FI issues. It would be on brand for Henley to get kicked out of the group and replaced. Just putting it out there.
The Ruler
Femi says he took Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams’s dreams and set them a blaze, and told them both to wake up. Femi puts over Evans since he crapped on him for the entire build to the triple-threat match. Femi also says he doesn’t like Williams, and as good as Williams is, Femi is just better. Williams interrupts. Williams wants a one-on-one title match. TNA Champion Joe Hendry inturupts. Hendry points out that Williams has changed and is wallowing in self-pity.
Hendry tells Williams he isn’t hungry anymore; he’s entitled. Maybe Williams is just a whiny b*tch. Williams dumps on Hendry for getting his @$$ wiped at WrestleMania. Hendry notes that he was in the ring at WrestleMania while Williams watched from the stands. Hendry has business with the NXT Champion. Femi tells Hendry not to make the same mistake Moose did. Williams steps in the way. Hendry decks Williams. Femi joins in. Williams is dumped over the top. Femi and Hendry have a staredown.
Grade: B
Good segment. Hendry vs. Femi will be a hilarious murder on live TV when it happens, but sign this writer up for it. Williams seems weirdly winding down his NXT run, which is odd, but let’s see where this goes.
Je’Von Evans and Myles Borne w/Wren Sinclair vs. DarkState
Griffin and Lennox are in the match for DarkState. Borne lands a dive. After the break, Lennox and Griffin are working over Evans. The rest of the NQCC walk out on the ramp to watch the match. Evans manages to tag in Borne. Borne clears the ring. Griffin and Lennox hit a double powerbomb on Borne for the win.
Winners- DarkState
Grade: C+
No clue why this match needed to happen. It was fast and just ok. Not much to talk about here.
NXT Women’s Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Roxanne Perez
Perez forces Vaquer into the corner and lands a few strikes. Vaquer and Perez trade submission attempts and take downs. A series of pin attempts leads to a stalemate. Vaquer lands a suplex and sets up the Devil’s Kiss. Perez rolls under the bottom rope to avoid it. Perez rakes Vaquer’s eyes while the referee is distracted. After the break, Perez works over Vaquer’s injured arm.
The fight spills out on the ramp. Vaquer lands a 619. Springboard crossbody by Vaquer. Vaquer lands the bullet train in the corner. Devil’s Kiss by Vaquer. Perez escapes the SVB. Vaquer counters Perez’s bulldog into a backbreaker. Perez stuns Vaquer’s arm against the top rope. Head scissors into a crossface by Perez. Vaquer escapes. Perez gets hung up in the corner. Wicked dragon screw by Vaquer. Vaquer hits the SVB for the win.

After the match, Giulia walks out on the stage. Jordynne Grace is on the balcony, looking down on both women.
Grade: B
Solid contest between these two amazing superstars. There was a bit of a style clash mid-way through with the awkward wheelbarrow spot, but beyond that, Perez and Vaquer were as crisp out there as ever. Vaquer seemed to be poised for a long NXT Championship run, but seeing her pop up on Raw this past week is usually a sign she won’t be long for NXT.
WWE NXT Review:
This was an uneven show that featured a quality main event. Perez and Vaquer are top stars with bright futures. After this, Perez seems to be done with NXT, and Vaquer is most likely not that far off. What will happen next? Let us know what you think in the comments!
