One of the most popular wrestlers of the modern era of professional wrestling is the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Joe Hendry. He recently opened up about his infamous Music Concerts.
While speaking to Fightful’s Joe Pearl, Joe Hendry shared his thoughts on his concerts. He claimed that there is a time and a place for musical concerts. Especially now, with him being the World Heavyweight Champion, he has to also focus on showing the world what this championship means. He also mentioned that his current focus is on his championship defense at TNA Rebellion on April 27.
“You’ve seen a couple of things on television. My personal opinion is I’m the World Champion and there is a time and a place for concerts, and there is a time and place for focusing on what this championship means and where it’s going to go. You can go concerts, but you can’t be doing them every week. For me, I am focused right now on my challenge at Rebellion. If it’s appropriate to do a concert at some point when there is maximum entertainment and a storyline reason to do it, then we should do it. It should be special. It shouldn’t happen every week,” Joe Hendry said. [H/T Fightful]
Joe Hendry had his WrestleMania moment this past weekend when he answered Randy Orton’s open challenge.
