TNA Knockouts World Champion Ash by Elegance wants to face Bayley.
Ash by Elegance, formerly known as Dana Brooke in WWE, captured her first TNA Wrestling singles title at WWE NXT HeatWave this past weekend. She became double champion as she already holds the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship alongside Heather by Elegance.
After winning double gold in TNA, Ash by Elegance appeared on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring. She was asked about her past feud with Bayley on Raw and Bayley’s current WWE storyline. The host noted that Ash played a key role in Bayley’s journey and asked if a future match between them could happen.
“I would absolutely love that. I would absolutely love to share the ring with Bayley. Seeing her on Raw with her vignettes and what she’s doing and reflecting and things like that, I’m like, ‘Oh girl, I was there and I know what you’re going through, but you’re going dark and you’re going deep.’ So I think definitely she doesn’t know the hunger and the drive that I am capable of now. I definitely feel as though, whatever she’s going through is a different animal and different beast.”
“I feel like there would be two totally different competitors in that ring if I were to ever go down because she’s not the Bayley that I once knew. She’s not the Bayley that came out with the ding-dongs, she’s not the Bayley with the side ponytail, she’s not Dora The Explorer. I’m definitely not Dana Brooke, I’m not the Temu Toni Storm, I’m not just breaking out of this character. Ash by Elegance faced Bayley several times in WWE, but now that both are in different places in their careers, a potential match between them would be exciting for fans.
