Brock Lesnar made his shocking return to WWE earlier this year at SummerSlam. And now it appears he’ll be returning to video games as well in WWE 2K25.
The Beast Incarnate was set to appear in WWE 2K24 last year before being named in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. The company requested to have Lesnar removed from the game, and 2K did the best they could, removing him as a playable character but still featuring him in the game’s Showcase mode.
While many didn’t expect a Brock Lesnar WWE Games return until 2K26, a new leak suggests he’ll be added to WWE 2K25 later this year.
According to WWE Games content creator and dataminer Witty Witterson, Lesnar will be one of the new characters added in the upcoming John Cena Farewell Tour edition of WWE 2K25, tweeting out:
“I have NOW managed to identify ALL 4 Superstars in the Farewell Tour Edition Pack that is coming up:
R-Truth Ron Cena
John Cena (WM41)
John Cena ‘03
Brock Lesnar
(Content is based on data found in game files and could change) #WWE2K25,” Witty Witterson said in a post.
The release date for the John Cena Farewell Tour Edition of WWE 2K25 has yet to be announced.
