WWE’s reported recruitment drive may not be slowing down anytime soon.
According to a new report, another tag team is expected to join the company’s growing talent pipeline after wrapping up its run on the Australian independent scene.
While WWE hasn’t officially announced an update, the reported additions would continue the company’s recent focus on strengthening its roster with international talent.
The Dropouts reportedly expected to sign with WWE
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp and Ella Jay, Australian tag team The Dropouts — Scott Green and The Tuckman — are expected by sources within WWE to sign with the company.
The pair recently announced they were stepping away from the Australian wrestling scene, fueling speculation about their future. Both competitors also took part in a recent WWE tryout. Their display reportedly impressed officials enough for them to be viewed internally as expected signings.
The Dropouts have teamed together since 2023 and built an impressive résumé on the independent circuit. They are former SLAM! Tag Team Champions, holding the titles from November 2024 until February 2026. They have also captured the Newy Pro Tag Team Championship in Newcastle Pro Wrestling.
The Tuckman has gained additional attention in recent months thanks to several viral ring entrances that spread across social media, giving the duo extra visibility before any potential WWE arrival. If the reported move is finalized, they’ll trade one tag rope for another as they step onto a much bigger stage.
The report also noted that The Dropouts are part of a wider group of talents expected to join WWE. Other names reportedly linked with the company include Hiromu Takahashi, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, and Richard Holliday.
For now, WWE has not officially confirmed the signing of Scott Green and The Tuckman. However, if the reports prove accurate, The Dropouts may soon be bringing their tag team success from Australia to WWE.
