The recent reports suggesting that WWE WrestleMania would be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027 appear to be true.
The chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, Turki Alalshikh, announced today on a Snapchat live video that WrestleMania 2027 would be held outside of North America for the first time.
The rough translation of the announcement is as follows:
“WrestleMania has been announced, for the first time outside of America, WrestleMania in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2027.” [H/T: Fightful]
This news has been confirmed by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, who reports that a press release issued in Arabic announced that Wrestlemania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027. However, the press release was sent out accidentally before it was meant to be issued and was pulled.
The official announcement from WWE will reportedly be coming very soon.
The 2026 Royal Rumble is also scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia
